The theatre the Funambulist exists since 1992.

The Theatre the Funambulist is a place of the Festival of Avignon Off but which also functions all the year as a permanent theatre of Avignon.
That it is of the Festival of Avignon Off or the programming in season, the Theatre the Funambulist always displayed a strong identity: the setting in front of creations, of the texts of contemporary authors and the texts of alive authors.
